# How does ASSIST calculate page usage for OCR and e-invoicing?
Understanding how ASSIST counts pages can help you choose the right subscription and manage your monthly limits effectively. Here is how the billing and page consumption logic works:
1. **Standard Page Counting for OCR:** For documents uploaded directly to the platform for data extraction, ASSIST counts every physical page within the file. For example, if you upload a single invoice document that contains three pages, it will be counted as three pages against your monthly quota.
2. **Managing Multiple Companies:** Each individual company entity requires its own separate subscription plan. However, a user can use a single email address to be invited as a member to multiple companies, allowing you to easily toggle and switch between different entities directly from the dashboard. If you are managing numerous accounts, ASSIST can support unifying your payments into a single billing document for convenience.
3. **Pricing and Top-Ups:** Standard subscriptions, such as the $8 per month plan for 50 pages or the $19 per month tier, are charged exclusively in USD. If you run out of pages in your current billing cycle, you can easily purchase top-up packages to add more pages to your account.
